Apple Inc. unethical issues

APPLE INC:

Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software and online services . The CEO of this company is Tim Cook and the man behind this company or we can say that founder is Steve Jobs. Apple is well known for its size and revenues. Its worldwide annual values are 25,849 Cores USD. Apple remains one the market leaders in the Smartphone Industry.

Besides the company introduction there are so many harsh truth related to such a wide and famous company . Sometimes while doing ethically in one way we ignore the unethical practice in other. And this is directly related to the company’s reputation or goodwill as we know Apple has become the first American Company to reach US$1 trillion in market capitalization US $1,000,000,000,000 in stock value. But behind this brightness of success, however lies a series of unresolved ethical puzzle.

In this ethical dilemma involves the millions of people employed in its supply chain, which is located in China with major contractor foxconn.
The main reason why apple iPhones are manufactured in China is due availability of abundant supply of labor force, this allow them to finish a large capacity of workload quickly. While working workers faced many kind of problems. As in 2011 in China, due to aluminium dust, killed for workers and almost 140 injured after using toxin in factory report New York Times.

As a Apple user, I was shocked to know that such a unethical behavior of apple Inc. that they use slave labor. There are cases where the conditions of apple workers are worse. Apple says that they are very dedicated toward
ethical sourcing of minerals, but it was found that tin for illegal mines could be entering its supply chain and most shocking thing is that some children digging tin ore out by hard in extremely dangerous conditions.

Recently was there was a case when first iPhone was released, Steve Jobs made a call to switch the plastic screen to glass. The brief instructions were given to the workers at 3:00 am and after that workers start mass production of the iPhone. Even if someone wanted to end their life, Apple installed anti-suicide nets on the outside of all the dorm windows so that if such thing happens then they get caught and brought back to work.
Apple needs to understand that the employees working on their unit are humans, not machines. They have feelings, they get tired too. Apple went out their way and did a lot unethical things just to make a bigger profit.
